Interstate 495 in Wrentham is significantly backed up as shoppers head to the highly anticipated Black Friday midnight opening at the Wrentham Village Premium Outlets.The worst traffic was on the southbound side, where backups were already over a mile long as of 10 p.m.
Police had placed orange traffic cones to direct traffic to the exit -- and prevent cars was jumping the line -- on the northbound side, where the backup was not as severe.
It was unclear why the same measures were not taken on the southbound side.
